Seasonal Tea Blend — Wintering Chai

We are so happy to be releasing our newest creation here at Points of Health our Seasonal Tea Blend — a warming Chai for the winter months, which balances the organ systems using Traditional Asian Medicine. This Chai was formulated in collaboration with the brilliant Paramjit Kaur. It features a festive blend of spices and adaptogens to support you through the season by warming the Yang, bolstering the Qi, and benefitting digestion.

Brew

To brew chai you may simply steep and drink. To make a Chai Latte combine 1 tbs chai in 6-8oz water in a small sauce pan and heat for 5 minutes. Add in 6-8oz milk (raw whole milk, oat, coconut, almond, or any nut milk), and continue heating until desired temperature is reached. If you like you can sweeten it with raw honey, date sugar, or maple syrup. Strain, drink, and enjoy!

To increase medicinal benefits consider adding some tonic herbs herbs.

Immune: Chaga, Reishi, Cordyceps, Astragalus, Polyrachis Ant

Digestive: Triphala, Astagalus, Tangerine Peel

Beauty: Goji, Schizandra, He Shou Wu

Longevity: Ashwagandha, Eucommia, Reishi, Chaga, Cordyceps

If adding whole raw herbs to the chai mix, then increase the cooking/steeping time
